abstract="A method to compare cadaver test results in side impact from different test conditions, i.e. free-fall test, impactor tests, sled tests and complete vehicle test, is proposed. The rib injuries are considered taking into account the loading surface differences between the two data sources. A model is introduced to compute the criteria in the same way and it is related to ribs, in order to evaluate their relevance.
