abstract="The paper presents analytical results of ten accident reconstructions, which are based on five actual car accidents. The accidents involved 9 restrained occupants, and were reconstructed first with 50th percentile dummies and then with human cadavers. The analysis compares the injuries sustained in the real accident with the injury criteria values recorded on dummies, and with injuries and injury criteria values found on cadavers. Chest injury criteria also are discussed.<p />",
