abstract="The lower limb injuries obtained by belted car driver during vehicular accidents are analyzed. It is shown that the injury risk for the limb is different in various collision types as frontal and lateral impact. Impacts of the vehicle side against a tree cause the most frequent and the most severe consequences. The different kinds and localizations of injuries are shown to be related to accident severity parameter like Delta-v. Persons with pelvic fractures as well as isolated hip joint fracture are also analyzed.<p />",
