abstract="The purpose of this paper is to provide an update on the current status of automobile glazing, and to describe and critic propose modifications to present glazing. Glazing must be durable including scratch and abrasion resistance (specially on the outside), and must withstand extreme exposure to sunlight, temperature and humidity. Automotive glazing must meet MVSS 205 - Glazing Materials. Changes to the standard since 1983 permit glass-plastic glazing of specified performance to be used in windshields, side and rear windows. <p>Language: en</p>",
