abstract="Results are presented of a study on motor vehicle accidents involving children in New York. The results of the study may, to some degree, be generalizable across the United States since all current passenger vehicles, adult restraint systems and CRS are sold nationwide and the 13 counties include urban, suburban, and rural areas. Roadways included the entire spectrum of city street, county roads, state highways, and limited access highway systems.<p />",
