abstract="The numerical simulation method was adopted to analyze the safety of foundation pits with the planned excavation methods and support styles, including the soil displacement, settlement of the existed base, force of the diaphragm walls and bolts. The calculated results show that the horizontal and vertical displacements of side walls of the foundation pits are 1.50 cm and 1.29 cm respectively. The bottom of the existing building sometimes ascends and sometimes falls. The horizontal displacement of the diaphragm walls sometimes increases and sometimes decreases with the extension of the depth, which does not show monotonicity in variation law. Because these values are small, it can be deduced that the support system and the existed building are both safe. <p>Language: en</p>",
