abstract="An experimental study was carried out to investigate the ignitibility of 800S flame-retardant PVC solid-woven conveyor belt with a cone calorimeter. The average ignition temperature of these conveyor belts is about 384 degrees C, which is calculated by a heat transfer model combined with cone calorimeter test data. In a bench scale tunnel, the flame spread length on a PVC conveyor belt was calculated with the above ignition criterion. The result shows that the flame spread length is about 0.3 m in 600 s if the wind speed is 1 m/s.<p />",
