abstract="The survivability indices of Shipboard Power System (SPS) are important to evaluate the performance of ship operation and combat. A new algorithm of survivability evaluation of SPS is proposed in this paper which can include the 3-D location data of electrical devices. The 3-D location of devices is defined using the coordinates of corresponding cabins. The Monte Carlo simulation method is introduced to select the candidate events and the detailed failure mode. Effect analysis proceeding considers elements of reconstruction of the SPS and the transmission capacity restriction of cables. Sample test shows that full direction attacks can be simulated using the developed method and it can point out the weakest part of the whole SPS, and then give important information for design and operation decisions.<p />",
