abstract="In recent years, various models for single gully debris flow assessment have been proposed. Due to various factors affecting the mechanisms of debris flows, these models face many problems during the prediction process. Based on the debris flow data of Yunnan, Yellow River Jishixia Reservoir Area, Beichuan County of Sichuan Province, two typical debris flow evaluation models, gray relation analysis and support vector machine, are used as examples to investigate the problems of parameter selection, sample data imbalance, generalization ability, spatial variability of the debris flow system, and the sample size. Relevant solutions are given to provide guidance for the future application of various single gully debris flow assessment models.<p /> <p>Language: en</p>",
