abstract="This article aims to analyze the violent dynamics present in Buenaventura-Colombia, as part of the necropolitics implemented by the State in which various illegal armed actors and their repertoires of action -terror and death- are established as means to control the population. This analysis is conducted through the theoretical perspective of Aníbal Quijano on &quot;The coloniality of power&quot; and the vision of Achile Mbembe on &quot;Necropolitics&quot;. <br><br>METHODologically, the inquiry used a qualitative approach based on the analysis of the newspaper El País, the portal Verdad Abierta and the reports for Development and Peace (INDEPAZ) during the years 2010-2019. It is concluded that the socio-political context of Buenaventura is a clear example of the relationship between modernity, terror and death, due to a system of domination in which the ethnic-racial and social class classification of its inhabitants converge.   ===  El artículo tiene como objetivo analizar la dinámica violenta en Buenaventura-Colombia, como parte de la necropolítica implementada por el Estado en la cual diversos actores armados ilegales y sus repertorios de acción -terror y muerte- se establecen como medios para controlar a la población. Este análisis se orienta a través de la perspectiva teórica de Aníbal Quijano sobre &quot;La colonialidad del poder&quot; y la visión de Achile Mbembe sobre &quot;Necropolitica&quot;. Metodológicamente, la indagación utilizó un enfoque cualitativo basado en el análisis del periódico El País, el portal Verdad Abierta y los informes para el Desarrollo y Paz (INDEPAZ), durante los años 2010-2019. Se concluye que el contexto sociopolítico de Buenaventura es un ejemplo patente de la relación existente entre la modernidad, el terror y la muerte, por cuenta de un sistema de dominación en el que confluye la clasificación étnica-racial y de clase social de sus habitantes.<p /> <p>Language: es</p>",
