abstract="The author writes about her personal experiences in the field of the rehabilitation of torture survivors. The article shows the first steps of the therapists exploring individual and group therapy methods. The mobile team consisting of psychiatrists, psychologists, child therapists, non-verbal therapists and trained interpreters' and the visits to refugee shelters. This type of work cannot be separated from the actually ex-isting political waves in Hungary and decisions regarding the legal regulations for refugees, neither from other factors like the pandemic.
