abstract="Domestic violence is a relevant theme worldwide. In Brazil, the numbers registered are alarming, in all its forms of manifestation, presenting themselves as more common, to the point of becoming naturalized, psychological and physical violence. The main objective is to demonstrate the manifestation of this phenomenon in the municipality of São José da Tapera, in the State of Alagoas. The article presents a hypothetical-deductive approach methodology, starting from the analysis of one of its most recurrent manifestations, gender violence, and then analyzing the judicial processes and identifying the profile of the aggressors, the victims, the forms of violence suffered by the victims. (physical, emotional or psychological, moral, sexual and patrimonial), as well as aspects related to the procedural process. Based on the results obtained, which demonstrate worrying rates of occurrence of the studied phenomenon, alternatives were presented to the constituted powers, in the sense of formulating public policies aimed at education, protection of victims and accountability of aggressors.   ===  A violência doméstica é tema relevante em todo o mundo. No Brasil, os números registrados são alarmantes, em todas as suas formas de manifestação, se apresentando como mais comuns, a ponto de passar a ser naturalizada, a violência psicológica e física. O objetivo principal é demonstrar a manifestação desse fenômeno no município de São José da Tapera, no Estado de Alagoas. O artigo apresenta uma metodologia de abordagem hipotético-dedutiva, partindo da análise sobre uma de suas manifestações mais recorrentes, a violência de gênero, para depois analisar os processos judiciais e identificar o perfil dos agressores, das agredidas, as formas de violência sofridas pelas vítimas (física, emocional ou psicológica, moral, sexual e patrimonial), bem como, aspectos relativos ao trâmite processual. Com base nos resultados obtidos, que demonstram preocupantes índices de ocorrência do fenômeno estudado, foram apresentadas alternativas aos poderes constituídos, no sentido de serem formuladas políticas públicas voltadas à educação, proteção das vítimas e responsabilização dos agressores.<p /> <p>Language: pt</p>",
