abstract="A FE model for the lower limb of the modified version of a pedestrian dummy developed by the authors for improved biofidelity have been developed. The moment-deflection characteristics of the femur and tibia and the moment-angle characteristics of the knee joint were validated against dynamic 3-point and 4-point bending experiments, respectively.
