abstract="Violence against women is a universal and widespread human rights violation that affects at least one billion women worldwide. It is estimated that around thirty-five percent of women across the world experience physical and/or sexual violence. This violence includes emotional abuse, trafficking, infibulation, unwanted or coerced sex, and marital rape. The purpose of this study is to analyze the various issues faced by women and how they deal with it and the author also analyzes the laws of India, which are currently concerned with the protection of women from all forms of violence. This research is not limited to the analysis of domestic laws, but also the laws of the abroad.
