abstract="In sucide attempts the interaction between environmental factors and the individual's personality seems to be determinant on the final result. This study aims at identifying personality factors present in the potential suicide attempters. The sample is constituted by 100 patients (36 male, 64 female, age = 26.42 ± 10.6 y.o. patients) assessed in the Departament of Psychiatry of the University Hospital of the Canary Islands after a suicide attempt. Cattell's 16PF Questionnaire was administered. The Features personality profile of the sample is characterized by such traits as follows: suspicious, astute, fearful, worriness subjective social rejection, concrete or literal thought, marked affective impairment with little emotional stability, low tolerance to frustation, self-conflictive, affective disadjustment.<p /><p>Language: es</p>",
