abstract="The author looks at the family implications of suicide from the point of view of family therapy. She illustrates the intergenerational meaning transmission of suicide through three family therapeutic case studies. She points out that externalization of suicide with the help of the genogram makes it possible to deconstruct the negative believes and myths connected to suicide, and the exploration of family resources as well. Finding the relation with the myths of a broader culture may facilitate the therapeutic dialogue by the creation of alternative narratives and identity integration, which is achieved with the help of a psycho-cultural approach.<p /><p>Language: hu</p>",
