abstract="Interrupting treatment, sedation, or palliative care is in part the responsibility of care givers. Assisted-suicide or euthanasia is the responsibility of the dying person. For its advocates, voluntary euthanasia it an undeniable individual right, the right to die. We present here different objections which can be presented to people who demand the right to end their life of palliative care. It can be concluded that a dialogue is quite possible between promoters of palliative care and advocates of euthanasia. © 2005 Elsevier Masson SAS. All rights reserved.<p /><p>Language: fr</p>",
