abstract="Basing themselves on a case history taken from a larger body of research, the authors propose to analyse the problems of identification linked to the suicide attempt of a 14-year-old adolescent, Noémie. This suicide attempt is thought to be linked to the melancholic nature of her identifications. The research methodology used here is the case history, associating clinical interviews with results from two projective tests, the Rorschach and the TAT. After a review of the literature on the subject of suicide at adolescence and the concept of identification in psychoanalytic theory, the authors analyse Noémie's suicidal gesture in light of the clinical material at hand, in particular, material from the projective tests, analysed according to the psychoanalytic method (Chabert and Brelet-Foulard). This analysis confirms the observations of other specialists about the extreme sensitivity to loss presented by adolescents who attempt suicide, but it also emphasizes the enlightening contribution of the study of identifications.<p /><p>Language: fr</p>",
