abstract="A population-based study of 1138 completed suicide cases matched to 4552 comparison cases found a fivefold higher risk of completed suicide in the first month of treatment with selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors relative to other antidepressants; however, the absolute risk of suicide was low. There was no difference between antidepressants regarding suicide risk after the first month of treatment. Men, more than women, were found to complete suicide. © 2006 Future Medicine Ltd.<p /><p>Language: en</p>",
