abstract="During the period of January 1997-December 2003, 367 cases of poisoning, avarage age is 4.67, who were hospitalized in the department of pediatrics in our hospital were evaluated retrospectively. 47.4% of the cases were seen in the age group of 2-6 years. All the cases of poisonings were found. Most of the intoxications occured with central nervous system drugs (23.38%) among the pharmaceutical products. Accidental corrosive ingestion (70%) was the first among the nonpharmaceutical products. Accidental causes were 89.9% of the cases. 10.08% of the cases were exposed to the poisoning because of suicide. Most frequently, poisoning cases were taken to the emergency room on Spring and Winter. 1.6% of the cases were died. All the causes of the death were mushroom intoxications.<p /><p>Language: tr</p>",
