abstract="This study is a reflective exploration of my experience as a survivor of spousal suicide within the context of the suicidology literature. I use my experience in heuristic research to question the rationale of concentrating on the differences and/or similarities of people bereaved by suicide versus people bereaved by other modes of death and whether it might be more helpful to compare suicide survivors to each other. I also explore the possibility of looking to the prodramata in order to discover potential within-group variability that may shed some light on suicide survivor experiences and grief reactions. © 2008 Sage Publications.<p /><p>Language: en</p>",
