abstract="The selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors ( SSRIs) have been widely used to treat major depressive disorder and other associated mental diseases in the world. In recent years,its safety is regarded, especially the studies on the association between SSRIs and suicide become more and more, so the role SSRIs play in preventing and controlling suicide has been an important public health problem. US Food and Drug Administration has warned that SSRIs may increase the risk of suicidal thinking, feeling and behavior in children, adolescents and adults 18 to 24 years of age. Hitherto, there has been a controversy about the possibility that SSRIs might induce suicidality in some patients. This review presents the recent advance on the aspect.<p /><p>Language: zh</p>",
