abstract="Consumption of Organophosphorus compound is one of the commonest modes of committing suicide in rural India. This study was conducted with aim to correlate the serum cholinesterase level and severity of organophosphorus poisoning. Estimation of serum cholinesterase levels are widely used to measure the esterases which clear acetyl choline.
