abstract="At the end of the 19th century, the hospitalization in Bordeaux of Monsieur Albert Dadas, who was unable to stop running away, was the subject of a famous medical thesis written by Dr Philippe Tissié and devoted to &quot;mad travelers&quot; In 1930, Pauline Herzl, the daughter of Theodor Herzl, died in the lunatic asylum in Bordeaux.
