abstract="The present publication has one main purpose-to explain one of the most discussed questions that have given rise to much controversy in the medicine-"for" or "against" the euthanasia. This subject excites the society even in the remote past. For that testify the brief literature data at the beginning of this work. For the clarifying of the term euthanasia are enumerated in details all the borderline states between life and death (anabiosis, coma, lethargic sleep). It is very important to be classified all types of death and the differences between them. Special attention deserve the cases in which is presented a condition known in the medical practice as "ventilator-dependent patient". This term is easy to be explained as a part of the complete conception of euthanasia. Inevitably are examined 3 concepts and the differences between them-palliative cares, physician-assisted suicide and euthanasia. At the end of this work are shown 2 studies, made in the USA, which clearly indicate that more than 55% of all the people in the investigation have a positive adjustment about the euthanasia and could take it as an own choice.

Language: ru
",
