abstract="Stab and incision injuries are not unusual in the routine medicolegal practice. Unusual, bizarre or multiple stab and incision wounds have repeatedly been documented in case reports, which poses the question regarding homicide or suicide. The case of a 34-year-old man who committed suicide with a samurai sword and using a self-constructed stabbing mechanism is presented that, due to the scenario in this case, is reminiscent of the ancient spiritually tinted form of Japanese suicide, seppuku. © 2016, Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.<p /><p>Language: de</p>",
