abstract="Diagnostic and therapeutic protocol of suicidal patient Suicide is a public health problem causing huge number of deaths worldwide. Since suicidal behavior is heterogeneous, to design an integral suicide model or to propose a specific treatment is difficult. The coexistence of mood disorder and distress or disinhibition disorders constitutes the greatest risk factor for this disease, triggering the suicidal behavior in the presence of stressful events. Although suicidal risk algorithm is not available, high risk subjects would be identified by a better knowledge and understanding of clinical, psychological, sociological and biological factors. Suicidal behavior may be prevented by psychotherapeutic therapies, mainly cognitive-behavioral therapy and pharmacological treatments, focused on underlying mental disorder, together with a regular follow-up of these patients. © 2019<p /><p>Language: es</p>",
