abstract="A dominant issue of today's society is the promotion of human health (physical, mental, social) to ensure an elementary quality of life, which is necessary for the fulfillment of human existence. when this is not achieved, human life is set in danger. in such a context, any suicidal tendencies or attempts, expressed or not, materialized or not, are manifestations of people who are in a vulnerable situation, without the necessary mental resilience for (healthy) functionality, who need immediate help/support. Either in terms of prevention or in terms of treatment, suicide is a major psychosocial problem that needs the necessary caution and care (state/political, social, family, personal). Because, according to the relevant literature, as well as data from the department of research and documentation of KEthEA AriAdnE, has been found to exist a connection between suicide and addiction, a key way in which suicide prevention and treatment can be achieved is through the prevention and treatment of addictions, which gradually lead the people who experience them and their families to a loss of control of themselves, their lives and a deadlock. © 2020, KETHEA.
