abstract="Kerosene is one of the petroleum distillates with low viscosity and high volatility. Kerosene is widely used in Korean home in heating and cooking. Kerosene ingestion or aspiration is one of the most common poisonings in young children but extremely rare in adults because kerosene is not taken with the intention of committing suicide.
