abstract="Derivatizing biomolecules with transition‐metal fragments can be a useful approach to some biochemical problems, for example in labeling hormone receptors. The estradiol derivatives 1-4 deactivate the estradiol receptor to varying degrees, allowing conclusions to be drawn concerning the chemical environment of the binding site. (Figure Presented.)
