abstract="Our paper aims at studying the psychopathological profile and symptomatic complaints of a sample of patients assessed after attempted suicide in the University Hospital of Canary Islands (N 100; 36 male; 64 female; mean age = 26.4 ± 10.6). Derogatis SCL-90-R self-report questionnaire is used in order to evaluate psychopathological variables. The psychopathological profile is characterized by a main elevation of the dimension of Depression (2.23 ± 0.89), followed closely by the areas of Anxiety (1.82 ± 1.02), Obsession-Compulsion (1.76 ± 0.94) and Interpersonal Sensitivity (1.75 ± 0.90). These four areas convey the basic features of the psychopathological pattern in these patients. The symptomatic complain is experimented with are a higher intensity are described our results are discussed according to those results obtained in other samples and regarding the current scientific literature.<p /><p>Language: es</p>",
