abstract="Sexual offenders (SA) constitute a heterogeneous population, with complex issues. The consequences of their action are however always traumatic. It is therefore essential to understand their functioning. A growing number of clinicians and researchers have been interested in the neuropsychology of sexual offenders. Their studies showed that SA suffered from an overall executive dysfunction. It specifically concerns the left frontal lobe. The SA social cognition skills were also examined (empathic abilities, recognition of emotions, etc.), asking numerous questions. Our paper proposes a picture of the literature on sexual offenders' neuropsychology. Emphasis is placed on their executive and sociocognitive functioning, with a view to point out the issues still to be explored. (PsycINFO Database Record (c) 2019 APA, all rights reserved)<p />",
