abstract="The author exposes the characteristics and the principal implications of a concept under recent study: uncivil behavior in organizations. This concept deals with the negative interaction among professionals based on low-to-medium behavior having an ambiguous intention to cause harm. The author explains the process by which this uncivil behavior may increase which can lead to more violent forms of work place strife. Furthermore, the author emphasizes the enormous potential that this concept brings to bear on psychological harassment in the work place. With this objective in mind, the author cites some forms which can be used as intervention methods against uncivil behavior in the work place. In the sanitary field, this concept has barely been analyzed, and it is necessary for researchers and supervisors to consider it.<p /> <p>Language: es</p>",
