abstract="This paper describes the part played by the subjects skull bone characterization upon the head injuries risk (fractures or/and cerebral injuries) and the levels of physical parameters linked with them. Only the cases that correspond to a translation movement without any head/trunk relative movement by rotation are taken into account. The details of the methodology are described, and the findings are presented. Analysis was performed to study the relationship between force, skull bone characterization and brain injury. The relationship between HIC (head injury criterion), skull bone characterization and brain injuries in side impacts are also described. The statistical analysis of the data is also described.<p />",
