abstract="A total of 1234 patients with spine fractures were seen in our practice from 1946 through 1960. These charts were reviewed as to the etiology of the fractures and a total of 296 patients were found to have fractures from auto injuries. All motorcycle and pedestrian auto injuries were excluded from this review; only injuries occurring in occupants of automobiles or trucks was tabulated.<p />",
