Compared with whites, Hispanic men have higher rates of alcohol-related problems, intimate partner violence, and cirrhosis mortality; black men have higher rates of intimate partner violence and cirrhosis mortality. All groups see treatment as an appropriate intervention to address alcohol problems, and there also is support for prevention.
