%X This paper quantifies the kinds of impacts resulting from traffic calming measures of various types. Descriptive statistics on speed, volume, and collision changes following traffic calming are derived from hundreds of before-and-after studies. Using the same data sets, impact models are estimated. While impacts are case-specific, traffic calming measures generally have the desired effect of reducing speeds, volumes, and collisions.<p />
