%X Data from the 1982-1983 Nationwide Recreation Survey were used to examine leisure preferences and leisure constraints of a nationally representative sample of black and white respondents aged 65 and above. Results indicated more similarities than differences in outdoor recreation preferences between the black and white respondents. In addition, there were few racial differences in constraints limiting participation in outdoor recreation.<p />
