%X Poetry groups are providing opportunities for older people to reminisce and integrate Important life experiences related to cultural identity. This paper describes a poetry group experience for older Navajo Indian people which promotes their reminiscence of "sheepherdmg" youth experiences. Group members have identi- fied the challenges they faced and the knowledge they acquired while "sheepherding" and the ways in which these themes have and are currently impacting their life experiences.<p />
