%X The demand for human organs for transplantation far outstrips supply. The authors examine the latent potential for criminal solutions to this problem. They review human organ procurement policies and discuss how such policies can have the unintended effect of contributing to the proliferation of black markets in human organs, and the exploitation of poorer nations. They also assess a variety of strategies to increase the supply of organs.<p />
