%X The city of Fairfield, Ohio (population 43,000) experienced lower accident rates, smoother traffic, lower emissions, and more fuel savings after programming traffic signals into a full traffic-responsive system. This article explains the benefits of setting signals for time of day, and adjusting cycle length of traffic signals.<p />
