%X A simple approximate formula for the coefficient of variation η is proposed for the Weibull distribution as a function of the shape parameter α. The formula is quite useful for making a rough estimate of η quickly for a given value of α in laboratories and in the field as well as for obtaining an explicit equation of α as a function of η.<p />
