%X The killings of journalists in the nations of Latin America is presented. The killers were not usually punished except a case in November 2002 in Peru when anti-terrorism police arrested Pedro Roberto Villacorta. He was arrested for the 1989 torture and murder by strangulation of Todd Smith, a reporter of The Tampa Tribune.<p />
