%X Letter to the editor regarding the letter from Dr. Gladstone and Dr. Kelman on the pacifist position (American Psychologist, 1951, 6, 127- 128). The communication of Drs. Gladstone and Kelman seems to be a temperate and proper presentation of their views. But although there are included a number of self-contradictions, there is involved a basic premise so questionable that it merits primary consideration. The author outlines two grounds upon which the frustration-aggression premise is fallacious. (PsycINFO Database Record (c) 2012 APA, all rights reserved)<p />
