%X This letter suggests that an author be permitted to "buy" immediate publication of a self-written comprehensive abstract which should be of the nature of a real "preview" of the article, but not extending over more than one tenth of the pages of the article submitted simultaneously. After having read such a "preview," a regular reader would have been aided in making up his mind whether he could afford to leave the "embellished" article on the regular publication date unread without risking a real loss of information.
