%X Concern about senior citizens' problems with child-resistant containers prompted a survey of their experiences and opinions. Almost all of the 330 respondants had used safety caps; more than half had transferred their medications out of such containers, or simply left the lid off. More than two-thirds reported that neither their physician nor their pharmacist had ever counseled them on this issue. Perhaps more active professional direction might help resolve this dilemma to the benefit of all concerned.<p /><p>Language: en</p>
