%X This survey study compared high school football players' knowledge and attitudes about concussion before and after receiving concussion education. There were no significant changes in the Concussion Attitude Index. <br><br>RESULTS revealed a statistically significant difference in the athletes' scores for the Concussion Knowledge Index, "t"(244) = 8.49, "p" = 0.000, and Cohen's "d" = 1.05. Concussion education can help football players learn signs, symptoms, and negative effects of mild brain injuries.
