%X Qualitative research methodology was used to interpret adolescents' responses to questions about their views on peace. They identified underlying causes and behavioral indications of the potential for war, and provided prescriptions for avoiding it and promoting peace. Skills in interpersonal relations, especially communication and problem solving, were viewed as essential.
