%X This paper describes the development of the control method, and presents formulas for cycle times, green times and capacities of three-arm junctions. Capacities are contrasted with those expected at conventional uncontrolled interchanges and at traffic signal controlled T-junctions. The results of before-after studies of capacities and delays are described, and future applications of the control method are discussed.<p />
