%X In graduate schools, the dearth of teaching and research concerning injuries is a problem that must be solved if we are to continue to make headway in injury control. It is a deficiency that reflects a lack of understanding about the injury problem, a lack of funding, and a lack of appropriately trained scientists.<br />
